Overview of ASF Courses

The ASF has been educating the securitisation industry since 1994 and is a Registered Training Organisation. All professional development courses offered by the ASF have been designed by individuals that are experts in their field and are intended to be relevant and practical for all those working in the securitisation industry in Australia.

All ASF courses are presented by experienced securitisation practitioners.

The ASF Education Faculty is committed to ensuring that appropriate training is made available to market participants.

ASF Education Pathways


The ASF has devised a suite of programs for frontline securitisation professionals and support staff to educate and enhance the skills of those operating within this important area of the industry. Our programs are designed to be relevant, practical and an industry benchmark of knowledge and skill for industry professionals. They are the only programs available that are specifically and exclusively tailored for this market.

ASF Professional Development Courses

  • ASF Fundamentals Program (entry-level)
  • ASF Diploma of Securitisation (intermediate)
  • ASF Covered Bonds Workshop
  • ASF Applied Securitisation Program (advanced)

ASF Education Faculty 

The Australian Securitisation Forum’s Education Faculty is responsible for:

  • Overseeing all aspects of ASF's education programs including all content development, syllabus and assessment options 
  • Providing professional development opportunities for participants 
  • Raising the calibre and competency of the domestic securitisation market vis-a-vis global peers informing 
  • Educating offshore stakeholders especially investors about Australian securitisation and the unique qualities of the collateral
