Queen's Birthday Honours 2022 - Congratulations Michael Bath

The ASF extends its congratulations to Michael Bath of the Australian Office of Financial Management on his inclusion in the Queen's Birthday Honours list for 2022. 

Michael has been awarded a Public Service Medal (PSM) for outstanding public service to support Australia's finance and securitisation market, during the 2008-09 global financial crisis and the COVID-19 pandemic.

"The Government's support of the Australian securitisation industry during the global financial crisis and its response to the pandemic was crucial in maintaining the stability and resilience of the Australian securitisation market. Swift action was required and Michael was steadfast and pro-active in engaging with industry as the AOFM worked to deploy its strategy", said Chris Dalton (CEO, ASF). "Michael's work was instrumental in providing the reassurance needed during challenging times and he continues to be a leader in the design and implementation of programs which support the ongoing development of Australia's securitisation market. Congratulations Michael on this well deserved recognition", Dalton added.
