ASF Japanese Investor Seminar 2024

On Tuesday 24 September, the ASF was delighted to welcome over 100 guests to the Australian embassy in Tokyo for an Australian securitisation market update for Japanese investors.

Presented in Japanese and English, attendees were updated on a range of topics including:

• Outlook for the Australian economy and housing markets
• Australian residential mortgage market including the current dynamics of mortgage origination and features of Australian warehouse facilities
• Credit performance of RMBS/ABS
• Diversity of issuer and investor base
• Issuer and investor discussion of current issuance trends, trends in residential mortgages and auto receivables and the attractiveness of Australian securitisation in the content of YEN devaluation.
