Update on ASF consultation on interest rate benchmark reform

The ASF has commenced a formal industry consultation to seek feedback from securitisation market participants on the benefits and risks of BBSW fallback considerations and alternate benchmarks.  The ASF has appointed PwC as its consultant to lead this project.

The ASF and PwC have together developed the consultation material and questionnaire which were distributed electronically to securitisation industry stakeholders both locally and offshore on Monday 9 September 2019.  Responses to the questionnaire are due by Tuesday 24 September 2019.  Responses will be used to aid a more qualitative interview process to follow with a selection of respondents.

If you have not already been invited to participate in the ASF’s consultation and would like to, please contact Robert Gallimore at rgallimore@securitisation.com.au and we will arrange for you to receive the consultation documents.
