Government introduces non-ADI rules
The draft legislation to extend APRA’s powers to make rules relating to lending by non-ADIs was introduced to the House of Representatives for its first reading today.
Treasurer Scott Morrison introduced the legislation as part of a range of reforms including its Banking Executive Accountability Regime (BEAR) for ADIs.
