The ASF is monitoring the emerging COVID-19 situation closely and evaluating the implication of developments on our markets. We also maintain close relationships with government and regulators and will continue to work with these agencies to advocate in the best interests of members.
To help contain and mitigate the spread of the virus, ASF staff will work remotely over the coming weeks to maintain business as usual to the fullest extent possible. Our program of industry events has, however, been postponed and meetings will now be conducted virtually or by teleconference. We are also exploring how we might deliver our securitisation courses and value to members in other ways leveraging on-line tools.
At this stage we are still planning to proceed with our flagship event, our annual conference – Australian Securitisation – scheduled for November 2020.
