Congratulations to our newest ASF fellows

At the ASF conference gala dinner held in Sydney on Tuesday 21 November, the ASF was delighted to award ASF fellowship to Jacqui Fox and Sarah Hofman.

Fellows of the ASF are professionals who have worked for member organisations and have demonstrated extensive experience in securitisation and have made a substantial contribution to the ASF, as an industry association, and have advanced the securitisation or covered bond markets in Australia.

Jacqui Fox started her career in Securitisation / Treasury at Bendigo and Adelaide Bank and moved to S&P where she started rating structured finance transactions. Jacqui joined National Australia Bank in 2001 and has significant roles as Head of Securitisation Originations the Investment Grade Originations and Executive Capital Markets. In these roles she instrumental in growing NAB’s business as a leading and supportive partner in assisting clients and the market grow. More recently Jacqui has taken on the important role as NAB’s Chief Climate Officer in November 2022 

Sarah Hofman has had an extensive executive career in leadership roles and is currently a Partner in the Risk and Regulatory Assurance team at PwC. Sarah established herself as an industry leader in her role with ABN-Amro before it was acquired by Royal Bank of Scotland in the early 2000’s.  At RBS she spent over 12 years initially a Director of Structured Capital Markets before taking on the roles as APAC Head of Securitisation Originations and finally Head of Primary Markets.

She was the inaugural female Chairperson of the ASF National Committee - a position she held for three years up to 2021. Prior to that she served on the National Committee for more than six years chairing the ASF Regulatory & Prudential subcommittee as well as being the Deputy Chair from 2015 - 2018. Sarah was an early and ongoing champion of the ASF’s Women in Securitisation initiative.
